For the best shelling, go one hour before or after low tide and wade out to your calves. Use a sand scoop at the watermark and then look through the scoop for some good finds. Shelling is particularly good after a day of bad weather – the bonus of having a day of rain and wind. Please wash your shells outside. Discard any unwanted shells on the driveway, not in the landscaping. Thanks!

North Captiva Island Club

Bluefin Beach House rental includes guest membership privileges at The Island Club. They have two heated pools, a spa, two lighted tennis courts, a basketball court, and complimentary bikes and kayaks available for your use. You can also enjoy poolside lunch or cocktails while you're at the club.
