Bluefin Beach House has a private heated pool and spa for your enjoyment. The house is just steps from the beach. Enjoy exploring, shelling, or just a day lounging while reading your favorite book on one of Florida's most pristine beaches.
For the best shelling, go one hour before or after low tide and wade out to your calves. Use a sand scoop at the watermark and then look through the scoop for some good finds. Shelling is particularly good after a day of bad weather – the bonus of having a day of rain and wind. Please wash your shells outside. Discard any unwanted shells on the driveway, not in the landscaping. Thanks!
Bluefin Beach House rental includes guest membership privileges at The Island Club. They have two heated pools, a spa, two lighted tennis courts, a basketball court, and complimentary bikes and kayaks available for your use. You can also enjoy poolside lunch or cocktails while you're at the club.
The waters surrounding North Captiva Island in Pine Island Sound and the Gulf of Mexico are some of Florida's finest! Boats and Fun can outfit you with everything you need for a day on the water. Do you want to rent a boat, paddleboards, or Jet Skis? Do you need gear or live bait for surf and dock fishing? They also offer fishing and scuba diving charters. Stop by when you arrive or give them a call at (239) 573-2074.
If you want to enjoy a worry-free day of fishing or boating, contact one of the fishing guides or private charters listed below. Daytrips to Captiva, Sanibel, Caya Costa, and Cabbage Key are all worthwhile. For a fun day trip, consider boating to Cabbage Key for lunch, and shelling on some remote stretches of beach.
